1. SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT-B (STA-B): Group 'B'
PAY SCALE: Pay matrix Level 6 (35400-112400) as per 7 CPC Pay Matrix and other benefits/allowances as per extant Govt. of India rules.
AGE LIMIT AS ON
CRUCIAL DATE OF ELIGIBILITY: Candidate must be between 18 and 28 Years of age
(Relaxable for SC/ST/OBc-NCL/ESM/PwBD/Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially
separated from their husbands who are not remarried, Departmental Candidates
with three years continuous service in Central Government, Disabled Defence
Services Personnel, Persons Domiciled in J&K State during the period from
01-01-1980 to 31-12-1989 as per extant Govt. of India rules).
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT (EQR): candidate
must have Bachelor's degree in Science Or Diploma in Engineering or Technology
or Computer Science or Allied Subjects, recognised by All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE), in the required Discipline. Candidates must have
acquired the EQR as on crucial date of eligibility for the posts they are
applying. Candidates whose results of the final examination awaiting as on
crucial date of eligibility for the prescribed qualification are NOT eligible
and hence should not apply. B.Sc. Candidates must have read the required
subject for at least 02 years in the course of B.Sc. Programme. Please note
that the candidates possessing higher qualification, viz., M.Sc. Or B.Tech. Or B.E.
or Ph.D. Degree etc, as on crucial date of eligibility, shall NOT be considered
for the recruitment. Mere fulfilment of the minimum eligibility does not
entitle any candidate to claim his/her candidature for selection to any post.

2 TECHNICIAN-A (TECH-A): Group 'C'

EXAMINATION CITIES FOR TIER-I (CBT): Candidates are advised to
choose any three different cities from the following list in order priority for
Tier-1 examination. The option/preference once given by the candidate will be

SELECTION PROCESS:
1.For the post of STA-B: The
selection process will consist of Tier-1 (Screening) and Tier II (Final
Selection) as described in Table1)
- Tier-1 and Tier-II will be conducted in Computer Best Test (CBT) mode.
- The Score of Tier-1 (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement.
- The Tier-1 and Tier-ll will consist of objective type multiple choice questions only.
- Tier-1 examination is for screening and Tier-2 is for final selection.
2. For the post of Tech-A: The selection process will consist of Tier-1 (CBT) and Tier-1 (Trade Test) as described in Table-2)
- The Score of Tier-1 (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement.
- The Tier-1 (CBT) will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.
- Tier-I examination is for Provisional selection and Ties-II (Trade Test) is qualifying in nature.
- Trade test will be of ITI level in the related trade, to test the practical skills of the candidates. The test may be of about one to two hours duration.
- The mode of selection may change depending upon the organization requirement/govt of india policy for both Sta-B and tech- A posts.
EXAM PATTERN:
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
- The syllabus of the examinations will be commensurate to essential qualification required for the post.
- The medium for examination will be Hindi and English.

SCREENING CRITERIA: Tier-1 exam is for screening. The
minimum qualifying marks for Tier-1 is 40% for UR/OBC candidate and 35% for
SC/ST candidates. Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on Tier-1
examination merit in a ratio of 1:8 (No. of vacancy: No. of shortlisted
candidates) provided they secure the minimum qualifying marks in examination.
However, this ratio may increase or decrease depending upon the organizational
requirements. The last candidate securing equal marks in the bracket will also
be included. These provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for
Tier-1 examination
PROVISIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA: The provisional selection
will be based on the order of menit obtained in Tier-1 examination depending upon
the post/category/sub-category of the candidate. The minimum qualifying marks
for Tier-II is 40% for UR/OBC candidate and 35% for SC/ST candidates.

However, this ratio may increase or decrease upon organizational requirements. The last candidate securing equal marks in the bracket will also be included. Provisionally shortlisted Tier-1 will be called for Tier-1 (Trade Test). It is mandatory to quality Tier-1 (Trade Test) for final selection.

- SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM, MSP and PWBD candidates (wherever applicable), who are selected on their own merit without re will be considered against the unreserved vacancies is per Govt. of India orders,
- The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately the eligible SC, ST, OBC, EVIS, ESM, MSP and PWED candidates (wherever applicable).
